HELLO! On Friday the 13th I shall be exhibiting an entirely new and unseen selection of work by Jim Wheeler and myself in the Golden Lion (Bristol). We will also be graced by audio delights from New Bristol female quartet 'The Beau Ties' and well established international party band 'The 45's'. Come for a really fun night! Hello! Sorry to have been so appallingly slack on here, people keep asking where my blog updates are! Well as per usual im afraid you may have to wait until a mass update of my works sometime in early January. I am doing lots of work for a Bristol based show so am keeping the work to myself until then.

On other news i shall be published in another internationall seller! Probably be out in late Spring, called 'Illustration portraits'. Keep your eyes peeled.

HELLO!
Been a while i know. I have been busy though! I recently did a show with a group of wicked artists in Bristol. Photos will be going up soon.

Perhaps more exciting though is the '75 Peters' show i will be exhibiting in at the end of the month. The show is in celebration of Sir Peter Cooks (famous architect) birthday. London modern art and Brisbane modern art have chosen 75 artists to produce a portrait of him. The snazzy invite attached tells you more.

Also attached is my portrait that will be exhibited. This portrait and all the other artists portraits will be available in auction from 'the adam and eve projects'. I am currently doing the artwork for the website!

Finally to all Bristol dwellers i am also currently showing my work at 'no 1 Harbourside' in Bristol city centre. Go have a pint and check it out.

HELLO! Sorry about the quietness of my blog at the moment. However i assure you i am still illustrating. Fellow friend and animator Jim Wheeler and I are organising a show with a further 4 artists (Ella Dore, Tom Gran, Harry Sankey and Dan Binns) The show will be up from early April in Start the Bus top deck! Keep your eyes and ears peeled! There will be a fundraiser before hand.

This is the new work i have been working on. It is a map inspired narrative about an Alien abduction at a drive in cinema. It is a work in progress and i will be working further on the image and perhaps the series...

I just wanted to show what i had been up to!

I quite like the idea of doing some fun maps for theme parks, shopping centre, water parks etc.

Hello! sorry its been a while! too long! I have been busy though. In my absence i have been making some work for my new swanky (free) D&AD portfolio. Also the 'Images 34' book i mentioned in the past came out! Cover is shown above. Also i featured on a digital directory called 'E creative' sponsored by V&A amongst other people, for London Fashion week. Much to my surprise on the launch night i found out i was the award winner in the illustration category! certificate shown above! Kindly selected by the head of graphics, selfridges.

This is the chosen work for the calendar. Influenced by old London maps. Thus the text in the river. Also the cramped nature of the image. The fold is kind of playing on the map idea...exagerates the proportions of a map. Calendar peing printed very soon for Kaplan Altior.

This is an image design for a calendar our class is illustrating for. The company is a law firm and is based in cities across the country. I chose to Illustrate Manchester. Manchester is where the 'Spinning Jenny' was invented and this gent (James Hargreaves) was the inventor. The invention kicked off a textile revolution and resulting in a large growth of the city. So he is literally standing on his creation.

This image was drawn for Association of illustrators book 'image 34' which should be out August 2010. I drew it because of the daunting crossover from my home in Bristol to my family home in the countryside near Guildford, and how every time i make the journey the city creeps a little closer.

This is probably the best illustration i have ever done...Drawn in 1992 I was four and in playschool. I would like to point out that 'Nightmare Before christmas' was made 2 years later in 94. I am waiting for Tim Burton to admit Jack Skellington was my creation.

I organized a little fundraising experience with Drawn recordings where me and the other illustration boys and girls did a big illustration doodle...The outcome was not so pretty but we sure had a fun time.

Some Golden Oldies...It is nice to look back. I do not like some of these images but i think all of them show key developments into what my art looks like now. Like all art and music...and i suppose life it is good to see how things evolved.
